Purpose: Strengthening of pelvic floor muscles to treat stress urinary incontinence
Treated Areas: To stimulate pelvic floor muscles and the back, increasing the strength and endurance of the pelvic floor. Effective to treat all types of male or female urinary and faecal incontinence, providing long-term relief from uncontrolled urine flow.
Treatment: The patient to remain fully clothed and sits on a comfortable IntimaWave chair. The magnetic applicators in the chair work to stimulate muscle contraction.
IntimaWave targets 2 types of urinary incontinence STRESS INCONTINENCE due to increased abdominal pressure understress and URGE INCONTINENCE due to involuntary contraction of bladder muscle through stimulating muscle contraction in the entire pelvic floor area, increasing the strength and endurance of the pelvic floor.

The therapy is given when the patient is fully dressed and laying down. One session typically lasts 20 to 30 minutes, with patients returning to their normal activities immediately following treatment.
IntimaWaveTM
StarFormer may also be used to stimulate pelvic floor muscles and the back, using two applicators, to treat all forms of male and female urine and faecal incontinence. The patient stays fully dressed and sits in a comfortable IntimaWaveTM chair throughout therapy. The magnetic applicators in the chair promote muscular contraction across the pelvic floor region, boosting pelvic floor strength and endurance.
